SALEM, NH– The Top Gun 2010 Mite Elites is a team to watch this season. In their strong playoff run last year, they beat the 36-1 Providence team to advance to the semi-finals. But they lost in a heartbreaker overtime to the 32-3-1 Minuteman Sparks. The refreshed Mites team is off to a quick 2-0 start beating the South Shore Knights 6-3 and Team Boston 9-7. The coaches credit the early success to a determined and hardworking group of players who love the game of hockey!
The team has a strong group of returning players which includes: Colton Bamberg, Brayden Gearin, Simon Hawkes, Conlon Jop, Mason Medeiros, Holden Olson, Liam O’Neill, Mason Proulx, CJ Sawyer and Jake Vigeant. New additions to the team are Michael Barrett, Drew Gallucci, Josh Herald and Tyler Pinardi.
Coach Dolan “Our team should be competitive; our new players will need to adjust to the speed and talent of this division. Our core group can skate with anyone and the team has shown really good work ethic so far. We would love another deep playoff run but the goal of this team and organization is the development of our players and to have fun”
